Jim Benton summed up the digital reading divide
in a simple comic. His cartoon drew down tens of thousands of views inside a single morning a couple hours, with commenters lamenting the loss of our literary heritage and commiserating with each other over the difficulties of raising tech-saavy kids the information age. Do the kids in your life love books? Or is a book just a broken iPad? Back in 2011, a viral video of
a little girl reading caused a similar debate.
